Premian from a distance

The village of Premian is in the Herault (l’Herault) region in Languedoc. A small village near to the town of Olargues, Premian has a population of just over 400 and sits at an altitude of 256 metres above sea level.

Premian is part of the “Le Parc naturel rĂ©gional du Haut-Languedoc” national park and it sits beside the pretty River Juar which runs through the Valley of the Juar and merges with the river Orb just after the medieval village of Olargues (said to be one of Frances’ best villages).
